Andrew H. Cushing, MD
Andrew Cushing, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with experience spanning acute hospital care, outpatient chronic disease management, and preventative medicine. He currently practices community-focused primary care, serving diverse and often underserved patient populations, with a strong emphasis on accessibility and continuity of care. His work reflects a deep commitment to helping patients manage long-term health conditions while adopting preventative strategies that support healthier, more sustainable lives.
Dr. Cushing earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Delaware, where his academic focus on human physiology and ecology sparked a lasting interest in the relationship between health and environment. He completed his medical education at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine and went on to train in internal medicine at Medical City Arlington with HCA Healthcare. During residency, he gained comprehensive experience across inpatient and outpatient specialties and played a role in establishing a resident-managed clinic to expand care access through hospital and community referrals.
Guided by a compassionate and community-oriented philosophy, Dr. Cushing is dedicated to promoting preventive care and integrative wellness.
