Q

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

What I love most about my work is seeing the aha moment. It's like the elevator goes to the top floor, finally, and people finally understand why something is how it is, or they have this moment of 'oh, that's trauma, I didn't think that was an issue that impacted me.' They just have this moment where their face changes when they finally understand. And they're like, 'Whoa.' It's my favorite moment. They're just like, 'Holy crap, I get it.' That moment when the people finally understand is what I love.
