AnaCarolina Hidalgo, PT, DPT
Ana Carolina Hidalgo, PT, DPT is a highly accomplished and compassionate physical therapist with more than nine years of experience in outpatient rehabilitation. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a minor in Exercise Physiology from the University of Miami, where she developed a strong foundation in movement science and wellness. She later obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Franklin Pierce University, completing clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing, and pediatric care. These experiences helped shape her well-rounded, evidence-based approach to physical therapy and patient recovery.
Ana Carolina currently serves as a Senior Physical Therapist and Clinical Education Coordinator at the Robert Wood Johnson Outpatient Clinic, part of RWJBarnabas Health, where she also leads the Aquatics Physical Therapy Program. Her clinical expertise includes neuromuscular therapy, aquatic rehabilitation, exercise therapy, and mobility and balance training. Beyond her clinical work, she contributes to physical therapy education as a Teaching Assistant in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Rutgers University–Newark, where she mentors students and supports their development into skilled, compassionate clinicians.
Motivated by her love for movement, science, and patient care, Ana Carolina is deeply committed to helping individuals restore function, confidence, and quality of life. She credits her success to the unwavering support of her parents and her own perseverance and determination. An avid reader of the American Physical Therapy Association Journal, she remains dedicated to continuous learning and professional growth. Outside of her professional life, Ana Carolina enjoys dancing and exploring new cuisines, activities that reflect her creativity, energy, and appreciation for diverse experiences.
