Amy Gardner, RN, BSN
Amy Gardner, RN, BSN, is a dedicated and experienced nurse specializing in mobile wound care and clinical management. She currently serves as Clinical Manager at Horizons Vascular and Wound Solutions in Land O’ Lakes, Florida, where she bridges the gap between nurse practitioners and patients across both mobile and clinic-based wound care services. With nine years of nursing experience, Amy brings a patient-centered approach to care, focusing on education, empowerment, and lifestyle strategies that support long-term healing and wellness.
Amy began her nursing journey at Luzerne County Community College, earning her Associate of Science in Nursing, and later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University. Throughout her career, she has gained diverse experience in case management, nursing education, intensive care, and mobile wound care. Her dedication to advancing patient outcomes has led her to pursue nurse coaching certification, including preparation for both holistic nurse and lifestyle change boards, with the ultimate goal of opening her own practice focused on empowering patients to take charge of their health.
Driven by a commitment to patient education and holistic wellness, Amy emphasizes that medicine alone is not always the solution. She strives to help patients make meaningful lifestyle changes to improve their overall health and prevent disease progression. Outside of her professional work, Amy enjoys pursuing her nurse coaching program and engaging in outdoor activities such as shark tooth hunting along Florida’s rivers and beaches, finding both relaxation and inspiration in exploring the natural environment.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most about practicing nursing is helping patients understand that medicine alone isn’t always the solution. I love guiding them to take an active role in their health through education, lifestyle changes, and stress management. Being able to empower patients to set their own goals and participate in their healing process is incredibly rewarding, and it’s why I’m pursuing nurse coaching certification.
