Amelia Luben
Amelia Hayden is a dedicated counselor based in Geneva, Nebraska, currently working with Mosaic, a York-based organization that supports adults with mental disabilities who are unable to advocate for themselves. Since joining Mosaic in June, she has focused on empowering her clients to navigate daily challenges and achieve greater independence, offering compassionate guidance tailored to each individual’s needs.
Amelia’s journey into mental health counseling is deeply personal. Growing up, she faced her own mental health challenges and received support that inspired her to give back to others facing similar struggles. Her personal experiences, combined with a strong support system from her family, have shaped her empathetic approach, allowing her to connect deeply with clients and help them work toward meaningful improvements in their lives.
Before entering counseling full-time, Amelia spent several years as a stay-at-home mom and worked from home in various roles. She has completed extensive company-provided training and holds certifications in CPR, HIPAA, and mental health, equipping her with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide professional, ethical, and effective care. Amelia’s passion for helping others continues to drive her work, and she remains committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those she serves.
