Amber Patterson, FNP-BC, MHA
Amber Patterson, FNP-BC, MHA, is an accomplished nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience in nursing and advanced practice. She began her career in 2005 as an LPN in long-term care, progressing to an RN in critical care and ICU settings by 2010, and ultimately achieving her Nurse Practitioner certification in 2017. With a strong background spanning critical care, emergency medicine, med-surgical, trauma, pediatric populations, and hospitalist care, she has developed comprehensive expertise in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including LTC, SNF, and ALF facilities. Amber’s work reflects a dedication to patient-centered care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and leadership in fast-paced healthcare environments.
Recognizing the growing need for mental health services, Amber is currently pursuing a post-graduate certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Her goal is to expand access to mental health care and provide holistic support to individuals facing complex medical and psychosocial challenges. This commitment builds on her prior experience managing hospitalist and outpatient care, ensuring all patients receive attention regardless of socioeconomic or financial barriers. Amber’s professional foundation is reinforced by her academic achievements, including an MHA from Maryville University and nursing education from Herzing University.
