Amber DeBruin, RN, BSN
Amber DeBruin, RN, BSN, is a seasoned nursing professional with more than 21 years of experience in healthcare. She began her career as an LPN in Canada and advanced through her RN and BSN degrees, ultimately dedicating two decades to pediatric nursing in hospital settings. During that time, she developed extensive clinical expertise caring for children and supporting families through complex medical situations, building a strong foundation in traditional acute care nursing.
After 20 years in hospital-based pediatrics, Amber transitioned into functional medicine, where she has spent the past several years focusing on root-cause, holistic approaches to health. She currently works in a functional and integrative care environment in Scottsdale, including experience at a holistic cancer center, where she supports patients through nutrition, hormone balance, gut health, and lifestyle-based interventions. Her work blends conventional nursing knowledge with functional health strategies to address underlying contributors to chronic illness.
Alongside her clinical practice, Amber DeBruin is deeply committed to mentoring other nurses who feel constrained by traditional healthcare systems. She helps guide nurses into functional medicine pathways, offering training, coaching, and support for those interested in building independent wellness-based practices. Through her coaching work, she is focused on empowering healthcare professionals to expand their careers beyond hospital settings and into more patient-centered, preventive models of care.
