Amber Boleyjack, RN, BSN

Amber Boleyjack, RN, BSN is the Director of Nursing for St. Louis Public Schools, where she leads nursing services across 62 schools and supervises a team of 65 nurses. With more than a decade of nursing experience and three years in district leadership, she also serves as the district 504 coordinator, advocating for a comprehensive approach to student wellness that extends beyond traditional school health services. Her role includes overseeing health and wellness programs for general education students, managing 504 plans and homebound services, and implementing district-wide initiatives that reduce barriers to care.

Under Amber’s leadership, school-based medical clinics have been established to provide vision, dental, and immunization services, supported by nurse practitioners who address broader medical needs. She has strengthened the integration of healthcare into the daily life of schools by building strategic partnerships, including collaborations with local pharmacies for medication delivery. Her efforts also extend to emergency preparedness, with initiatives such as CPR certification programs and the placement of automated external defibrillators throughout school facilities.

A graduate of Chamberlain University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Amber brings a diverse clinical background spanning dialysis, adult medicine, pediatrics, and public health. Inspired by growing up in a healthcare family and overcoming early personal health challenges, she is deeply committed to equitable and compassionate care. She remains actively engaged in professional and community organizations, including Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority, and continues to pursue professional growth through advanced training and school nurse certification.
