Amanda Sturm, MA
Amanda Sturm, M.A., is a dedicated forensic psychology professional with experience in both clinical and behavioral health settings. She is currently a Forensic Psychology Intern at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital, where she conducts risk assessments and psychological evaluations. In addition, Amanda works at Hudson River Care and Counseling, providing support and therapeutic interventions to diverse populations.
Amanda’s professional experience spans roles as a Behavioral Health Technician, Social Skills Facilitator, Behavioral Therapist, and Administrative Assistant, allowing her to develop a well-rounded perspective on patient care and program administration. Her hands-on experience in mental health and behavioral therapy complements her academic background and enhances her ability to provide effective, client-centered care.
Amanda holds a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Master’s degree in Psychology from St. Thomas Aquinas College. Outside of her professional work, she volunteers with the Tails of Hope Foundation, assisting veterans with K9 programs and educating communities about the critical roles of service animals. Her commitment to education, mental health, and community service reflects her dedication to improving the lives of those she serves.
