Amanda Gutierrez, M.S., LPC
Amanda Gutierrez has been a practicing community counselor for 15 years and is passionate about helping people regain control of their emotional well-being. As an EMDR-certified clinician, she is skilled at guiding clients through trauma and providing effective coping strategies. She has extensive experience addressing grief, life transitions, social anxiety, depression, people-pleasing behaviors, adjusting to disabilities, and supporting teens and young adults in navigating life’s challenges. Amanda believes that life is all about balance and tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Throughout her career, Amanda has worked in a variety of clinical and educational settings, including Primary Care Associates, PC, Daybreak Family Services, and her own practice, Mindful Hope, PLLC. She has collaborated with six doctors over six years to accurately diagnose and develop appropriate treatment plans, helping clients function effectively in their daily lives. Her work reflects a commitment to holistic care, integrating mental, emotional, and social aspects of well-being.
In addition to her clinical practice, Amanda is a dedicated educator. She teaches psychology courses and the University Welcome to College class at Rogers State University, using real-life examples and engaging activities to make learning relatable. Her leadership experience, including serving as President of the Psi Chi College Chapter, allows her to mentor students and foster personal growth alongside academic development.
Amanda also offers faith-based counseling for clients who prefer a spiritual approach, integrating their beliefs into the therapeutic process. Beyond her professional roles, she has volunteered hundreds of hours, organized fundraisers for women and children affected by domestic violence, and led relational aggression programs for elementary-aged girls. With a combination of clinical expertise, educational experience, and community service, Amanda is dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals and live balanced, meaningful lives.
