Allison Wise, LCSW
Allison Wise, LCSW, is a seasoned clinician with more than 15 years of experience specializing in trauma-informed, relational therapy for high-achieving individuals seeking deeper alignment, clarity, and authentic self-expression. Her work weaves clinical expertise with a profound respect for the complexities and contradictions inherent in the human experience.
Grounded in the belief that healing unfolds when people are met as whole, imperfect, and evolving beings, Allison supports clients who appear accomplished and composed on the surface yet feel disconnected from their inner truth. These are individuals who excel professionally, care for others tirelessly, and maintain stability in most areas of life—while quietly wrestling with self-doubt, existential questions, or the sense that they are living slightly out of sync with who they are becoming.
Throughout her career, Allison has been driven by a passion for breaking cycles of trauma, mental illness, and housing insecurity. Her work helping individuals move from homelessness into safe, stable housing remains one of the most meaningful aspects of her professional journey and informs her deep understanding of resilience, identity formation, and the courage required to rebuild one’s life. This same lens guides her private practice clients as they transition from “surviving” to truly thriving.
Allison’s therapeutic presence is warm, direct, and deeply attuned. She creates a non-judgmental space where clients can explore the parts of themselves they have long edited or minimized, while also being gently challenged to confront the truths that stand between them and the lives they want to lead. Her approach supports clients through life transitions, identity shifts, relational patterns, and the internal conflicts that often accompany high performance.
At her core, Allison is not only a therapist but a fellow human navigating her own evolution, someone who understands the courage it takes to unravel old narratives and step into authenticity. She is devoted to guiding clients toward becoming the fullest, most aligned versions of themselves—grounded, empowered, and deeply connected to their own inner wisdom.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I value most about practicing social work is the profound privilege of helping to interrupt and heal cycles of trauma, mental illness, housing insecurity, addiction, and abuse. Throughout my career, some of my most meaningful moments have come from walking alongside individuals as they transition from homelessness into safe, stable housing—sometimes for the first time, sometimes after years of hardship. The impact of securing a home extends far beyond four walls; it restores dignity, possibility, and a foundation on which people can rebuild their lives. Bearing witness to that transformation remains one of the greatest honors of my professional journey.
I am equally deeply fulfilled by the supervisory relationships I’ve nurtured with staff and interns. Supervision—both giving and receiving—has shaped me in ways that continue to enrich my clinical work and my humanity. It is a space of mutual growth, humility, and shared discovery, where the parallel process mirrors the very principles of healing and empowerment we guide our clients through. Supporting emerging social workers as they find their voice, deepen their clinical intuition, and step into their professional identities is a privilege I hold with great care.
Ultimately, the heart of my practice lies in connection—witnessing resilience, fostering growth, and creating environments where individuals, teams, and communities can move toward wholeness. It is in these relational moments that I find the greatest sense of purpose and joy.
