Alina Griffith, LMHC
Alina Griffith is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and the founder of Kizuna Counseling, LLC. Her counseling journey began while working with children on the autism spectrum, where she witnessed the profound impact of a gentle, patient, and respectful presence. This experience inspired her to create a safe, steady, and nonjudgmental space for all clients. Alina earned her Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from Troy University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2020. She provides services to individuals, couples, and families, integrating a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs.
Alina’s goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can slow down, reflect, and understand themselves more deeply. She believes healing emerges through genuine connection and trust, and she strives to empower clients to grow at their own pace. Alina works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, and life transitions, offering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and SandTray Therapy, a creative, experiential method for exploring emotions when words alone are insufficient.
At Kizuna Counseling, LLC, Alina emphasizes meeting clients where they are, whether they are new to therapy or returning after time away. She fosters an environment where clients feel supported, accepted, and understood, helping them engage with the therapeutic process safely and confidently. Alina’s warm, collaborative, and individualized approach ensures each client’s experience is respected and meaningful. She welcomes inquiries from prospective clients who are curious about therapy or interested in exploring which modalities may best support their growth and healing.
