Alexandra Navarro-Gonzalez, LPN is a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse with over 15 years of experience, specializing in care for the special needs community. She currently serves at New Hope Agency in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she provides home- and community-based nursing services tailored to patients with diverse special needs. Throughout her career, Alexandra has cultivated expertise across multiple healthcare settings—including residential facilities, skilled nursing centers, clinics, and case management—consistently demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and advocacy for individuals with developmental and cognitive challenges.

Alexandra’s journey into nursing began after the 2008 economic crisis, when she lost her position at a hedge fund and decided to pursue her long-standing aspiration to become a nurse. Balancing her responsibilities as a mother and wife, she completed her LPN certification and began working in home care for a young autistic boy, an experience that sparked her enduring passion for the special needs community. She later joined YAI, supporting adults with varying cognitive abilities in residential settings, and over the years expanded her expertise to include MDS coordination, discharge planning, care management, and clinical nursing. Alexandra’s career reflects not only a breadth of experience but also a depth of commitment to improving the quality of life for her patients.

Currently, Alexandra continues to advance her practice at New Hope Agency, focusing on delivering comprehensive, individualized care in home and community settings.
