Alayna Voitek, LPC, SAC-IT
Alayna Voitek is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the founder and owner of Giggles and Growth, a private practice dedicated to play therapy and parent coaching for young children and families. She specializes in working with “littles,” focusing on helping children express emotions, build emotional regulation skills, and strengthen their sense of identity through therapeutic play. Her work is rooted in the belief that early emotional support and healthy communication within families are essential to lifelong well-being.
With approximately six to seven years of experience in the mental health field, Alayna has been a licensed therapist for three years. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Lakeland University in 2023 and is licensed in the state of Wisconsin. Throughout her clinical journey, she has worked with a wide range of populations, including children, adolescents, and young adults, before choosing to specialize exclusively in early childhood and family-centered play therapy.
Alayna’s professional background includes diverse clinical and community experiences, such as work with Sharon Richardson Hospice, a production farm setting, and the Sheboygan Area School District. These experiences helped shape her understanding of human development across different environments and strengthened her passion for supporting children and families. She is certified in Play Therapy and Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), both of which guide her current therapeutic approach.
Through Giggles and Growth, Alayna focuses on building stronger parent-child relationships by combining weekly individual play therapy sessions for children with parent education and coaching. She is dedicated to helping caregivers develop effective communication skills such as emotional reflection, boundary setting, and consistent encouragement. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, empowerment, and creating a safe space where children feel understood and supported.
Alayna is deeply passionate about her work and views her role as helping families reconnect, heal, and thrive together. She believes that childhood can be challenging in today’s world and is committed to supporting both children and parents through that journey. By fostering emotional awareness and healthy relational patterns, she strives to create lasting positive change in the lives of the families she serves.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
I developed a deep passion for working with children early in my career, and over time it has shaped the way I view childhood development and mental health. I have come to recognize how challenging it can be to grow up in today’s world, regardless of age, and that understanding has strengthened my commitment to supporting children and families. My work is centered on helping individuals connect more deeply with themselves and move toward self-actualization—becoming the best version of who they are. After the passing of my father, this purpose became even more meaningful to me. That experience influenced my decision to focus my career on helping others heal, grow, and build stronger relationships, particularly within families.
