Adrienne Templeton, RN, BSN

Adrienne Templeton, RN BSN, is a dedicated home visitor nurse with the Nurse Family Partnership program in Gunnison County, Colorado. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Colorado Mesa University in December 2024 and began her role in August 2025. In her current position, Adrienne provides comprehensive nursing care, case management, and follow-up support to high-risk, first-time mothers and their infants, many of whom are low-income, Medicaid-eligible, or from Spanish-speaking and immigrant communities. Her work spans from pregnancy through a child’s second birthday, ensuring families receive the guidance and resources necessary for a healthy start. Prior to becoming a registered nurse, Adrienne gained hands-on clinical experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Licensed Practical Nurse, primarily in senior care settings. These early roles provided her with a solid foundation in patient care and strengthened her ability to connect with individuals in vulnerable moments. Today, she leverages this experience to deliver culturally sensitive, relationship-focused care, collaborating closely with Health and Human Services and other community organizations to support families across multiple counties within Region 10. Though early in her nursing career, Adrienne has already demonstrated a commitment to professional growth and excellence. She attributes her success to the mentorship, reflective supervision, and educational opportunities provided through the Nurse Family Partnership program. Passionate about maternal and child health, she strives to empower families through education, advocacy, and consistent support, making a meaningful impact on both the health and well-being of the communities she serves.
