Emily N. Ansel LISW-CP

Emily Ansel is a Licensed Independent Social Worker–Clinical Practice (LISW-CP) with extensive experience working with children, teenagers, and adults. She earned her Master of Social Work from Boise State University and has been practicing as an outpatient therapist since 2018. Throughout her career, Emily has remained dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for every individual she serves.

Emily’s therapeutic style is rooted in a client-centered, strengths-based philosophy. She prioritizes building authentic and trusting relationships through open communication, compassion, and respect. With experience treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and trauma, she tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Emily integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness techniques, and play therapy to help individuals develop insight, build resilience, and navigate life’s challenges.

Emily currently practices at Oceanic Counseling Group, where she continues to support clients on their journeys toward emotional wellness and personal growth.
